Temple Lodge, No. 33

Here is some information about Brother Robert Telford taken from Temple Lodge records:

“....The application of Mr. Robert Telford [illegible] was then read for the first time. The same was received and the following committee of investigation appointed by the W.M. Bros. Samuel Erb, Cap. Gibson and Jas. Richardson.....”

[Note: the application for initiation of Melville Franklin Lucas was received at the same meeting]

“.....a lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons opened for the purpose of examining Bro. Robert Telford touching his proficiency in this degree and he being found duly proficient was on motion passed to the more honourable degree of a Fellowcraft Mason and for that purpose a lodge of Fellowcraft Masons was duly opened and the brother duly passed to the degree of a Fellowcraft Mason....."

At this time we do not know a lot about Brother Robert Telford. He was Initiated in Temple Lodge in 1901 and he seeems to disappear from our Lodge records in 1918. We have posted some information about him from Temple Lodge records below. We will post more information as we uncover it.
